Season Postponed

The NZSD Choreographic Season will be performed in Spring 2020. An inventive collection of new dance works by 3rd Yr contemporary dance students explore themes of curiosity, intimacy and introspection.

In response to the new way of learning, living and working during the Covid-19 lockdown, these gifted dancers will present thier works in a unique new format. Please keep in touch with us via our Facebook and Instagram feeds for updates on new peformance dates. These will be issued later on in the year.

Known for technically accomplished dance performance, NZSD contemporary students’ choreographic talents are showcased in an annual performance season. An inventive collection of new dance works by final year students performed and presented in a unique new format awaits. With impressive athleticism and agility these dancers present contemporary dance at its freshest and most creative.

The School continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation very closely, and to operate in accordance with all government health and safety advice. The health and wellbeing of the community, students, scholars, associates and staff are our top priority.  Therefore we will confirm dates for Choreographic Season 2020 when we are able to do so with certainty.
