The Wellington CIP weekend

For dancers aged 15 – 18 years, with a sound knowledge of contemporary dance and interest in dance as a career. The contemporary intensive programme is for dancers who wish to:

• Establish a solid technical foundation
• Learn key aspects of the contemporary discipline such as improvisation, partnering and composition
• Learn from tertiary tutors to gain an insight into NZSD’s unique contemporary dance training
• Deepen their understanding of the industry and discover the requirements for full-time training

The programme runs over a weekend, and all elements of the programme are taught by the members of the New Zealand School of Dance faculty. Spaces in class are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment.
