This year we celebrate 50 years since the School was established in 1967.

Many people have shared its journey and contributed to personal and collective achievements.

As Garry Trinder said in his speech on the anniversary, 6 March 2017; “We know that the New Zealand School of Dance can shape lives… The passing of the baton happens constantly. The rich tradition continues in the studio through every step, every phrase, every variation, every muscle twitch. It is the lifeblood through which this art form is fed.”

We invite all with a connection to the School to join with us at this half-century milestone for a series of special events in Wellington.
