The New Zealand School of Dance is excited to present our Summer Intensive 2022 for dancers aged 12 – 17 years. The programme, developed by leading dance educators in New Zealand, will give dancers a taste of what is taught at the School. The New Zealand School of Dance is thrilled to return to the Whare Whakaari Theatre at Te Whaea for our 2021 Graduation Season from 19 - 27 November. Open Technique Classes

Open Technique Classes

The NZSD offers open technique classes in classical ballet and contemporary dance in conjunction Associate programme auditions.  Dancers are welcome to join the open classes, whether they are attending the Associates auditions or not. Entry to the New Zealand School of Dance full time programme is by audition only. Applications to attend auditions have now closed. As the Level 3 lockdown in Auckland, Northland and parts of the Waikato continues, we have no choice but to cancel our anticipated in-person audition at Wellesley Studios on 31 October. Regrettably we are no longer able to make the trip to Auckland for live auditions as the Level 3 lockdown in Auckland, Northland and parts of the Waikato continues.
