HOLODECK: Mixed reality performance

An intersection of live dance theatre and digital entertainment
Part of the Wellington “What if the City was a Theatre?” festival. NZSD contemporary dance students collaborate with filmmaker Ed Davis (Lucidtripper.com) to bring you HOLODECK – a mixed reality performance combining live, huge LED walls and game engines
Together they create a series of short ensemble pieces exploring alternate realities and the wonders of virtual production projected via huge LED walls that are like standing in Star Trek’s “Holodeck”
